I think I had fare well in my Picture Discussion. I did apply DARTS to my discussion. I think I may have scored well in this examination.

I think that I should improve in my picture discussion as I think I did not do well in my prelim oral. I sometimes will forget to apply DARTS or even DRIPS. I hoped that I will improve in my picture discussion druing the PSLE oral examination.

ReplyDeleteyes i felt i did fared in this section.i thinnk i apply DARTS. i give myself a 20 marks range out of 30. i like the suggestion part where i give my own opinion.the picture show a girl pushing a troley which contain her brotherr inside bringing in a fast speed to a woman.the women fell. another women help that the who fell to the ground. there at the cashier was a men or women giving her or his place to a old woman or old man.i hope i get a good mark

i was only able to use alittle of my DARTS and Drips well i din't know the drips at that moment

Not quite. I applied some onto my picture. I would give myself 7 marks as I think I did not do well in this component. I got to improve and know where my weak points are. Yes, there are areas where i would like to improve such as: 1) My confidence when talking to the teacher. 2) My introduction about the picture.

Not really. I will apply some of them. I will give myself 6/10 as I don't think that I will do well in this component. I enjoy saying the thoughts about the person. I will try to say more about the picture and my thoughts.

20 marks range out of 30. I've described briefly, example how the way they attired. I gave opinions, and i like those opinions that I gave. I think I should improve in the conversation part, i'm a little bit nervous during that momment as the teacher asked for eye contacts. There's a little girl pushing a pushcart and inside the pushcart there is a little boy which I think is the little girl's brother. She's pushing it in a highspeed and that's very dangerous. She've knocked down a lady and a helpful lady had helped her up. English picture discussion had really less things to talk about, I must say that it's quite hard. End of my reflection. (:

ReplyDeleteI did not fared the picture well as i was nervous with the teachers. I was able to apply some of the DARTS and DRIPS but not all of it. If I was the examiner, I gave myself seven over ten. I was quite suspicious and worried about my marks that time as the examiner was laughing. I would like to improve my conversation and reading as i always nervous.

ReplyDeleteI think i should have not fared well in the picture discussion because when i stopped, and when i want to say more, the teachers had wanted to prompt me some questions. I think i did not apply DARTS/DRIPS as i had forgotten to use them. I think that some the enjoyable moments is the picture as there are many things to talk about. I think i should imporove in my speech as sometimes i don't know what to say about.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I have fared well in this section. Maybe I am too nervous. I have learnt to say more things about the picture when the teacher gave me comments during the exam. I don't think would get high marks but I will try harder next time.

I feel that I have done fared well in this section.To be honest I did not apply DARTS and DRIPS as I was so nervous because it was the prelim.I think I'll give myself 6 mark range out of 10 as there are not many things in the picture to talk about.There were only two main thing to talk about.(WEEK 1 GROUP 1)My enjoyable moment was in the picture there were two kids playing with a supermarket's trolley.It reminded me of my brother and I when we were kids.But the two kids knocked down a lady,my brother and I will never dared to do that as we would have gone too far.I think I want to improve by apllying DARTS and DRIPS but there are only one problem.In PLSE,I'll be more nervous than before!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI don't think so. I didn't feel very confident at that time, in fact, I felt very nervous. Picture dicussion seems to be the toughest for me during Oral examination. I was able to apply some of the DARTS and DRIPS.
I would like to give myself 13 or 14 as I did not not give any suggestion to what the characters in picture should do instead of doing the wrong things.
I had some enjoyable moments with my examiners as they were very kind and friendly. However, there are some places which I want to improve. Such as, describing the picture in detail, reasoning, thoughts, suggestion and predictment. I hope I could get the highest marks I had ever got in the past six years I have been studying.

I think I have fared well in this section. I have confidence in myself and tried my best. This is my learning point that i want to shared. I have applied the DARTS and DRIPS correctly. I would give myself 70/100 because I was quite hesitant. But I did not describe the situation well thus losing some marks. In the end, I decide that I will give myself 65 marks.

ReplyDelete(Do you feel that you have fared well in this section?) I think that I'm not all perfect but just fine in this section. I still have to learn more to improve in this section. By then, I'll be very happy with my marks after much practice.
(Were you able to apply DARTS/Level 1-4 or DRIPS to your picture?) Yes,I was able to apply some to my picture. I will apply them now and for future as it really helps much to score lots of marks.
(How many marks would you give yourself?) I would give myself maybe around 7/10 marks for picture discussion as I don't think that I'm up to the standard of scoring full marks for oral now. But I really beleive,soon,that I can achieve my target as I still have to over come my nervousness when I'm in the examination room.
(What are some of the enjoyable moments in this section?) I think the most enjoyable moment is that when I am very familiar with a place likely the same like the picture that I have fun in. Also,thinking about the rights and the wrong doings people do in the picture is also an easy way to score marks.
(Are there areas you would like to improve?) I would like to improve my clear pronounciation while speaking as when I across something that I'm not familiar with,I will usually break out in cold sweat and may repeat something that I just said previously. I believe everyday conversations in proper English will help alot to improve my clear pronounciation. I am now really trying to improve and I beleive that I can score better marks than my previous marks.
