Oral reading/picture/conversation

Hi pupils with positive learning attitude, as was shared earlier,

Reading, check

1. pace 2. fluency 3. expression . NEW ACE in mind.

Appropriate pauses, clear pronunciation, Expression



Picture, PRESENT TENSE check

1. Introduction general (picture shows/depicts a scene...)



On talking points: For each talking point, think of the VOCAB words and build your sentences from there. Remember that your essay phrases can also be used. Just CHANGE the TENSE TO (PRESENT) tense.

2a. level 1:describe/ E.g. The boy(s) is /are dashing across the road.

b. level 2: I think / E.g. I think he is being irresponsible to carry out such an act.

C.level 3: why / E.g His rash act could endanger his own life or even others. It may bring great misery to the unfortunate.

d. level 4: suggestion / E.g. He could use the overhead bridge or zebra crossing to cross the road.


You could try DARTS - Details, Analysis, Reason Thought.


3. conclusion, to sum up the picture(what is the message from the picture?). / E.g. It is important that we are all civic-minded so that we do not inconvenience other people unnecessary. Life is precious and we should be responsible and taking it seriously, for we have to bear the consequences and come to regret our rash acts blah blah blah:)



Conversation: RELAX, just share your thoughts/wishes think of who, what, when, how, why, where to generate more ideas use the reading text/picture discussion to help you in your conversation if need be(all 3 components - ONE THEME)
